A treasure, that's the word that comes to mind when thinking about Ypsilanti Art Supply. It is fitting because there are many treasures to be discovered at the store. When you first walk in, tiny clothespin (more on tiny things later) if they're made by a local artist, so it’s like you're doubling up on supporting local by buying those stickers.
Notebooks: are in many parts of the store in all different sizes and I love me a cute notebook I had to resist picking one up to add to my collection.
Watercolor: The watercolor supplies are beautiful and prolific, ranging from individual tubes of paint to whole watercolor pan sets. She carries beam paints, and you can get a slice of a tree truck as a pallet for them! The most delightful are paint pallets are made in Michigan by Busy Hands ceramic pallets and cups.
Single sheets of paper!! That’s right! It was a pleasant surprise and happy to know there is a resource for good, larger-scale paper.
